What is a Deceased Estate?

A Deceased Estate is everything a person owns and owes at the time of their passing, including property, money, debts, and personal belongings. The estate must be legally wound up through a formal process to ensure all debts are settled and the remaining assets are distributed according to the will or legal succession.

What is the role of an Executor?

An Executor is the person legally appointed to manage and finalise the deceased’s estate. Their duties include collecting assets, paying debts, and distributing inheritances. HHA works closely with Executors, whether family members or appointed professionals, to guide and support them through each step of the process.
